Event Overview:

Welcome to the 2022 Anti-Fraud Spring Conference. This day long training will be packed with presentations, panel discussions and keynote speeches from various members of the Anti-Fraud community.

Earn up to 8 CPE’s towards your CFE credential! (Including 2 Ethics CPE) The overarching theme of this years conference will be to discuss emerging threats as well as to present new tools and technologies to the ACFE community.

We are working to have this be a Hybrid event with options for both in-person and online attendance. However, we will not be able to confirm the in-person part of the conference until approximately two weeks before the event due to the ever changing COVID-19 environment. If it is possible, it will be hosted at our previous venue, the EY offices on Mission Street. Thanks for your understanding.

 Agenda and Speakers

– Keynote Speaker NYT Bestselling Author Abby Ellin –

Biography: I am the author, most recently, of “Duped: Double Lives, False Identities and the Con Man I Almost Married.” It’s about—yup!—the guy I was engaged to who turned out to be a pathological liar and ultimately went to jail. It’s based on a 2015 cover story I wrote for Psychology Today. The book is not just about my own lovely experience, but also the experiences of many other people who’ve been deceived in a range of areas. Let’s face it: #WeAllGetDuped, though most people don’t want to admit it, especially not publicly. But I do! For more info see: https://www.abbyellin.com/

“I have recommended this one to friends who’ve loved someone they turned out not to know….Duped” is testament to the deep and enduring damage deception can inflict. What people don’t know hurts them. Reading “Duped” gave me occasion to second-guess even gentler deceptions; it may actually have made me a (slightly) better person.” — Tim Kreider, New York Times

We continue to work with multiple speakers for this event and plan to release more speakers soon! For updates please visit Sfacfe.com or our Eventbrite.

We hope to see you there!
